Message :ability to see minor changes like spark plug gap. I'd think that outside temp, heat soak, etc., would make a variance of a few HP - enough to sway 0.3%... UNLESS you are making BIG power, where 0.3% is actually a whopping 2HP. ;)

LOL....I bet you a dyno run that you are wrong..Not only is it actually that precise but, you will see the headlights come on and off on the graph as well the A/C and any other load. You will be able to see a spark plug gap change, etc. This system is unbeleivable. It not only loads the auto in every different load factor that you can think of but, does full 1/4 mile runs, 0-60 runs, Top Speed runs to 260 MPH, shows the exact HP & TQ @ every wheel and the auto can actually be held at every 100 RPM under different load conditions and tuned perfect. This means Acceleration, Deceleration, Cruise, Full throttle Etc. We can tune the car on the dyno and repeat the run @ THE TRACK with the load and conditions being the same. the system datalogs EGT, TPS, BOOST, A/F, and has 4 other inputs to log whatever we want. In the works as well is a 5 Gas analyzer that will log with the run as well. This is simply the best system we could find anywhere in the world and have the Temperature controlled room now to run it in. Along with the new DYNO, we are installing a new engine building clean room with a HEPA filter and temperature control as well. Coming soon is a full Bridgeport MILL, and a new Lathe to compliment the rest of our services. New things are coming from SGP and everyone will know soon.... ;-)
